I consider it an honour to be asked to photograph someone’s wedding. It’s one of the most important days of a person’s life and ensuring that it is photographed in a professional manner is paramount.  Booking a wedding photographer is an important decision and I pride myself on getting to know you and listening to what you want for your day.

My main photographic style for weddings can be described as documentary or reportage, which means my photographs will tell the true story of your day, rather than providing you with lots of posed and unnatural images that do not show the feelings, emotions and events of your day.

Modern weddings are usually less formal and have more happening than those experienced by past generations.  Wedding photography is the same and provides a far more accurate and complete photographic record of the day.  Your memories are precious, and your photographs will play a major part in reliving your special day, along with allowing those who have not even been born yet to experience the day for themselves.

Featured Wedding 2017 - Sarah & Jack

My last wedding of 2017 was a lovely informal event seeing the joining together of Sarah & Jack.  I arrived to a packed house for the bridal preparations, with the bride and bridesmaids being pampered by Lynsey-Marie, hair and makeup specialist.  Spending three hours at Sarah’s house, I captured her getting ready, along with all the little details such as flowers and jewellery.  From the house we travelled to a lovely little church on the outskirts of a village, where I was lucky enough to be allowed to photograph the ceremony from the choir pews, giving a fantastic view of the couple and their guests throughout.  The reception was held at a local holiday village that as a large entertainments complex and holds many events throughout the year.  The spacious surroundings allowed guests to mingle and enjoy the day, providing some fantastic images for the couple to remember their day by.

Watch the slideshow above to see how their day unfolded and some of the memories that were captured for them.
